NATIONAL THEATER’S MEETING

Beginning in 2017, the National Theaters Meeting is an instance organized by the Theater Network that summons all spaces for theater at a national and international level, to talk and share around common challenges and opportunities.

Through the years, the strategic guidelines to establish alliances with peer entities in Ibero-America and learning from management models and shows from theaters worldwide have allowed linking the Network with other international initiatives.

In this context, during the third version of this meeting in 2019, we had two international speakers: Magnus Aspergen, General Director of the Riksteatern of Sweden, who shared experiences around the collaborative model of this space with over 40 thousand members that fund them through a co-ownership system. Furthermore, Julieta Alfonso, Cultural Manager of Argentina, talked about the management of ARTEI, the Argentinian Association of Independent Theater, also part of our RIEE Network.
